CALL FOR PAPERS
Original research articles are invited for Offline/Online presentation in any area of Mathematics and allied Sciences. The abstract must be prepared in MS word/LaTeX format (Times New Roman, 12 pt, single line spaced, single column, 200 words). Arrangements are being made to publish the conference proceedings comprising selected research articles, after a thorough peer review, in reputed SCOPUS/ Web of Science/UGC Care listed journals after the conference.The research articles shall be submitted through email at ucsmathtumkur@gmail.com on or before 24th December 2023. Intimation of acceptance will be sent by 28th December 2023.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The objective of the International Conference on Advances in Applied Mathematics (ICAAM-2024), conducted in hybrid mode,is to promote research in Mathematics and to give the participants a bird’s eye view of the various applications of Mathematics in different domains of life. It intends to provide a platform for young researchers & students to interact and exchange their ideas with senior academicians from premier institutes of various countries and delegates from industry, working on different areas of applied Mathematics and explore novel domains of research.
ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Tumkur University, established in the year 2004 to address the needs of students in higher education in Tumkur district, has gained significance as one of the youngest universities in the country and has been recognized on par with top institutions of national importance in a short span of time. Tumkur University aims to achieve human potential development through committed and dedicated efforts and is ensuring an effective application of integrated and interdisciplinary approaches in its dissemination of knowledge.
University College of Science (formerly Government Science College) was established in the year 1940. In 2010, the college was taken into the fold of Tumkur University as a constituent college. Since its inception, the College has been growing as an institution of pride and reputation and has been recognized by University Grants Commission as a College with Potential for Excellence (CPE).

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Mathematics is one of the major Departments in the College and offers various courses in Mathematics prescribed by Tumkur University. It also offers various Skill Enhancement Courses such as Data Analysis and Logical Reasoning & Problem solving. The faculty members of the Department are involved in active research in several domains such as Graph Theory, Differential Equations and Fluid Mechanics. In collaboration with the Post Graduate Department of Mathematics, the Department is actively involved in the conduction of various academic and research related activities for both the teaching fraternity and student community.
ABOUT TUMAKURU
Tumakuru, also known as Tumkur, is the district headquarters of Tumakuru district, located northwest of Bengaluru, the capital of the southern state Karnataka of India at an elevation of 2696 feet. Tumakuru is famously known for its various religious places such as Devarayanadurga, Siddaganga Mutt, temples in Kydala, Aralaguppe & Turuvekere carved in Hoysala style and adventurous places such as the Madhugiri monolithic hill, Shivagange and Siddarabetta.
Tumakuru is easily accessible by bus and train from different parts of Karnataka and can be reached by air through the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The best time to visit Tumakuru is during winters in the period November-March. The lowest temperature is recorded in the month of December and is about 160 C.
