Department Description
Department of Biotechnology Department of Biotechnology was established at Tumkur University in its constituent college during 2007. The main goal of the department is to initiate a state of multidisciplinary, scientific curriculum which will provide impetus to generate skilled graduates and post-graduates and also to elicit innovative and entrepreneurial ideas to meet the ever increasing demand of Biotechnology.
Goal
- To train the students for competitive exams.
- Enhancing infrastructure development to accommodate research scholars
- To patent the research carried out in the department
- Initiation of collaborative research activities (National / International Research)
- Participation in faculty exchange programmes in India and abroad
Mission
